A PR factory is when you (or your AI) crank out pull requests faster than anyone can review them. Quantity over quality. Your GitHub profile looks amazing, but the reviewers are suffering and half your PRs never get merged.
Real Talk
A PR factory is a workflow pattern where pull requests are generated faster than the team can meaningfully review them. Often enabled by AI tooling, it creates review bottlenecks, inflates WIP, and pushes reviewers toward rubber-stamp approvals. Healthy teams cap open PRs per author to force focus.
